(I'm) The Mountain

Inspired by the existential game The Mountain by David O'Reilly, an appropriation of the gamer youtube culture is made by a game-play video of The Mountain. The end result is a 3 hours video of continuous game-play with a live video-audio recording with textual comments.
Instead of narrating the game as it is usually done, I mimic the Mountain (game “character”) and stand by contemplative, with a text window where I could share my personal thoughts throughout the day. To watch this performance video is to accompany the existential Mountain living its life and sharing some of its thoughts, while I, as the player, take the same position.
